Love the idea of taking black basics and adding fabulous details to create a visually interesting outfit. For this look I took a black bodysuit a pair of black cropped straight leg jeans and added several details to create a dynamic outfit.
First, added a plaid blazer for dimension. The print adds great visual interest and the oversized fit is on trend. Next, added a black braided velvet headband. It gives some pizazz to my hair without having to do any styling. Keeps it subtle with the black which I love.
Sneakers are a favorite to pair with a blazer. The dressy blazer becomes an every day item with sneakers. Any will do- whether its a pair of converse, vans, dolce vita. etc. I opted for a “dressy” pair with the shimmery p448’s.
Lastly, add the accessories. I chose a pair of round cut out statement earrings. Love the addition of shapes to the look. There’s a lot going on with the headband and earrings; so I decided to pick a dainty necklace with an evil eye on it. It’s blue which coordinates well with the blue and black plaid. It’s simple but adds more layers to the look and breaks up the all black high neck bodysuit.
