Abercrombie is known for their denim shorts! Abercrombie has been my go to for so many years. The fit is great. Each year there’s more than one sale to snag em’ for a great price! I also love that there is the original fit and the curve love fit. Making them more versatile for differing body types.
Abercrombie denim shorts come in varying lengths and washes with the option for a raw hem or distressing. I love that you can find your wants all with one brand.
The 4″ mom short
There’s the 4 inch mom short which I was a bit concerned would be too short for momming it up! But, I like the length and don’t mind showing a little extra leg. Especially with my short legs. I love this medium wash with a bit of distressing and the raw hem. These ones have that lived in look without holes. Making them easier to get on and off. No worries about catching a toe on the way on or off!
These fit true to size. I am wearing size 26 in the “medium destroy” wash. There is a bit of stretch. 99% cotton, 1% elastane
The dad short
These shorts have a 5″ inseam. Definitely longer than the mom shorts. Even with one inch it makes a big difference in the way they look. If you like a longer short these ones are great! Comes in 11 colors! An option to meet any of your denim wash needs!
I snagged these in the “light wash” which has a raw hem and the white which does not have a raw hem. (not pictured).
I tried these in the “light” which has a criss cross waistband. I thought I’d love them but, found that I prefer a classic waistline. I also tried the “light brown” wash. These were fun! I like the unique color option. But, for me decided to return these and keep the white.

High rise mom short
These bad boys are shorties with a 2.5″ inseam. They’re definitely short but, do not show any booty on my frame.
I did find that the medium wash shown above was super snug. I would definitely size up one in these. I think because they were so snug they felt extra short. The black wash fits well in my true size.
I am obsessed with the black wash. They’re a great option for something different than a traditional blue denim short. I also love how the black looks dressed up with strappy heels for a summer night out!
