Pantry Organization

Let’s chat pantry organization! This is my first go at truly organizing our pantry in a way where we can see everything we have and ensure everything has a place. Aesthetically I love the pantry because it’s pretty! But, ultimately it serves an amazing purpose. Nick gets frustrated when we have multiple of one item or something expires because we can’t see we even have it. All valid feelings!

So, our hope is that with better organization in the pantry we will be less wasteful and truly eat the things we buy! I pulled inspiration from Pinterest. We made our purchases for organizing from Target, Amazon, and Costco.

Before

All of the air tight tubs are OXO. We made the mistake of assuming the lids would be sealed enough to stay locked in place if held by lid or tipped. This is not the case! hehe. Just a heads up that yes, it is air tight and keeps the food from going stale but, will not be locked in a way that prevents the lid from coming off before pushing the “pop” button to unlock lid.

My favorites

Three of my very favorite items are the lazy Susan, the divided organizer bins, and the bamboo expandable three tiered shelf. The bins with the dividers are perfect for snacks! Keeps things like granola bars in an upright position and allows for more than one snack to be added to the basket. As for the lazy Susan it’s perfect for the corners of a pantry. You can spin it to get the things in the back and nothing gets lost! It’s a great way to utilize the awkward corners of a pantry.

Below are the exact pieces we purchased: If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment! I’d love to help in any way I can.
