My favorite skincare line goes to Beautycounter!
I drug my feet for a couple years before trying it out. My friend kept nudging me to test it out. I wanted something I could snag at Target that was free of yucky ingredients. While I could find a few that were on the cleaner side they all had fragrances. I didn’t want this on my skin. As a person who has struggled with acne for most of my life; I had made it my mission to care for my skin as best I could.
So, I finally took the plunge and started with a cleanser. I loved it! I kept adding in new products as I’d run out of my old items. Two years later I am a 100% BC product user. hehe! If you check my bathroom counter out it’s lined with all the amazing products!
While I love the products the products did not solve my cystic acne issue. After over a decade of skin issues I decided to go on Accutane. I swore I’d never stoop to such a harsh product. But, I was tired. Food changes didn’t solve it. Alllllll the products in the world didn’t either.
I did however, use the Beautycounter Countermatch skincare line while on Accutane and I have to say it took care of my skin so well! I am so happy with how the products supported my skin. I have heard so many stories about how harsh Accutane is and how the person’s skin was flaking and horribly dry the entire time. But, I honestly didn’t have that bad of an experience. My nose was the Saraha desert and my lips were too! My skin on the other hand was doing pretty well. I didn’t have to reapply moisturizer all day long to make sure I wasn’t a flaky mess.
I have to attribute the more pleasant experience to BC products. They just picked up the slack and made sure my skin stayed well hydrated during my time on Accutane.
Singing praises for Beautycounter skincare and cosmetics will always be my thing! After several months of using the products I became a consultant and make a commission when you choose to shop with me. I figured if I am going to sing all these praises I might as well be a consultant too!
